This set of rapids is right below our campground. It's called Champagne because it's all bubbly (due to a thousand little whirlpools). The rapids here are so small that Nathan and his siblings usually float through in their life jackets. It was a little too cold for any of us to want to float through this year.
The part of the Snake we run is if Wyoming, near Jackson Hole. I took this from the back of the truck driving to the drop-off dock. Doesn't it look like heaven?
We decided not to take Tyler to the "dirty dirt" campground, since he's not old enough to actually run the river. He stayed with my sister in Logan instead. On the way there, we had to stop at Walmart in Brigham City to change a stinky bum, and he wanted to shop.

And finally, you have to drive through Afton to get to the Snake. They have a world's largest elkhorn arch. Amazing, yet creepy, don't you think?

I'm jealous. Maybe next year I can go! Tyler is too cute -- I was thinking of him, and you, as Gabby and I were watching Baby Signing Time today. She loves it already! She can be ignoring everything else and the music and giggles start and she's hooked. Thanks for turning us on to them! Looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks!
